The bespoke process I undertake connects you through jewellery to the beautiful areas of the British countryside. From coastal cliffs to isolated mountain ridges.

All Bespoke jewellery I make is first carved in wax, in these unique areas in Britain, and then finished off in the studio, the whole process is done exclusively by myself. 

THE PROCESS. 

We begin the process with a conversation with myself. An idea of what you want is compared with previous jewellery I have made, along with stone selection. A rough sketch is then made and we agree upon a final rough design. 

Once the precious stones have been sourced and everything is priced I will send you a final price for the finished piece. We take 50% of the final price, and the remanding 50% is payable upon completion of the jewellery. 

The next step is to make the piece from wax in an area of outstanding beauty, you can even choose a special location if you have a place in mind. I then set off and make the piece in that area. Usually I will take in the scenery and the rock formations and amalgamate that into the design. Just as the artist paints a landscape visually in front of them with brush to paper, I do the same but in wax. This is a very personal and exclusive service that I offer, and as far as I am aware I am the only one that offers this unique connection to nature that is instilled in my pieces. 

I then bring the piece back to the studio and it is cast into the precious metal that you have chosen. I then finish off the piece and stone set under the microscope ensuring secure and beautifully uniform settings. 

I will also endeavour to photograph or video the location of where your jewellery was 'born'. 

Bespoke Options with Heirloom Jewellery

I can also up cycle your heirloom jewellery by carefully taking out the existing precious stone and re melting the metal back down and forming it into a new design. The precious stones are then carefully re set into a new piece. 

This is a great option if you have sentimental old style jewellery that has been passed down but your not to keen on the style.

We have worked with many different types of jewellery in the past, even antique jewellery which has been re modelled into beautiful organic styled pieces, all  carved from wax models in the beautiful British landscape. We can even use the 'Cast At Location' service for your heirloom jewellery if you want to add a bit more sentiment to it, which involves casting the metal in that special area, this service can only be offered for plain bands and not complex jewellery pieces. All complex jewellery designs have to be carved from wax models.
