Arc of the Attrition 100 race Cornwall.

Last January saw me at the start line of the notoriously wild and unforgiving Arc of Attrition 100 in Cornwall. With a lot of complacency in training leading up towards this, with hill training done in 'hilly' London parks, I was destined to crash out of this. Everything crumbled away at around mile 17, hitting the wall and suffering from lactic acid build up in the quads from those unforgiving steep ascents and descents on the Cornish Coast.

From Coverack to Lands Ends I found the whole thing very hard, pulling out after just 51 miles at Lands End.

There was no wax making on this trip only sheer exhaustion and recovery, I did plan on making some wedding bands here but I was simply too tired.

Back to the drawing board, revised training plans and more specific workouts and time to relocate to the Mountains in October 2025!
